Terms

How we work with you, in plain words.

Last updated 7 October 2026

The short version

Ultra is a software development business based in Florida, USA. Talking to us is free. A price is agreed only in a written proposal that you accept. Work starts when the deposit is paid, and the finished work is yours once it is paid for in full.

Using this site

You may use this site to learn about Ultra, plan a project, book and join calls, read and accept a proposal sent to you, and pay an invoice. Please don't misuse it: no attempts to break in, overload it, or use someone else's link or code.

Calls

A first call is free and puts you under no obligation. You can move or cancel it with the link you get when you book. Calls happen on this site, in your browser, and are not recorded. We may end a call that is abusive.

Monthly care

Ultra Monthly Care is $299 USD per month plus applicable tax, charged automatically from the day you subscribe until you cancel future renewals. It covers updates, backups where supported, bug fixes and one small change each month for software Ultra built. Access and compatibility must be agreed before care starts. Larger work is quoted separately.

Cancel future renewals through Manage billing on the monthly-care page. Care continues through the paid period. If you cannot access billing, contact Ultra before your next renewal. These terms do not remove any refund or other rights the law gives you.

The project planner and estimates

The planner on this site, and anything we say on a call about cost or timing, is guidance to help you decide. It is not an offer or a quote. The price and what is included are fixed only by a proposal we send you and you accept.

Proposals and projects

We send a proposal as a private link. It sets out what is included, the price, the payments and the terms for that project. Accepting it online, by typing your name, is your signature, and it becomes the agreement between us. We keep a record of the name you typed, when, and the network address and browser it was done from. If anything on this page differs from a proposal you accepted, the proposal is what counts.

Payments

Invoices are paid on this site through Stripe (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or bank), or by bank transfer arranged with us; we never see or store your card or bank details. Work starts once the deposit has been received. Later payments are due within 7 days of their invoice, and we may pause work while a payment is overdue.

Refunds

  • The deposit reserves our time and pays for planning and the first work. It is not refundable once work has started.
  • Payments for stages we have delivered are not refundable.
  • If we cannot deliver a stage you paid for, and cannot put that right within a reasonable time of you telling us in writing, we refund what you paid for that stage.
  • If you think a payment was taken in error, tell us first and we will sort it out. A payment disputed with a bank or card company instead may pause the work until it is settled.

Nothing here takes away rights the law gives you that cannot be signed away.

Who owns what

This site, its wording and its design are ours. What you send us stays yours. Work we make for you becomes yours once it has been paid for in full, as your proposal sets out.

What we are not responsible for

We keep this site running with care, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss caused by using the site, or by services run by other companies that it relies on, such as hosting and payment providers.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Florida, USA, and the courts of Florida decide any dispute about them.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, we update this page and its date. A change never alters a proposal you have already accepted. How we handle your information is on the privacy page.

Questions about these terms: ask us on a call, or reply to any email you have had from us.
